Attorney:

• Primarily engaged in advising and representing multinational companies and other private sector contractors, manufacturers, employers and consultants in investment, trade and dispute matters since 1977 with residence in the Middle East (1975-1985) and United States (1985-present).

.• Particular experience in the work of clients in the tendering, financing, and performance of major construction, design and infrastructure projects; international oil and gas projects; international joint venture planning, organization and maintenance; the drafting and performance of international distributorship and agency arrangements; and serving as counsel to parties in construction and services arbitrations. 

Arbitrator:

• Appointed as arbitrator in international and domestic arbitrations by the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and American Arbitration Association (AAA) including AAA’s International Centre for Dispute Resolution.

• Named on the Panel of Arbitrators for the International Centre for Dispute Resolution of AAA, Construction Panel of Neutrals of AAA and Commercial Panel of Neutrals of AAA.

• International institutional arbitration experience includes the following appointments as arbitrator: four as Chairman/President of Tribunal, six as Sole Arbitrator and eight as Co-Arbitrator. 

• Domestic institutional arbitration experience includes the following appointments: seven as Chairman of Tribunal, twenty nine as Sole Arbitrator, and ten as Co-Arbitrator. 

• Has service as arbitrator in international and domestic arbitrations in the following fields: construction, entertainment, intellectual property rights, distributorship, agency, sales representative, software, international sale of goods, industrial licensing, agriculture and others. 

• While serving as sole arbitrator or co-arbitrator, drafted numerous final awards including one while serving as sole arbitrator in a large and complex construction arbitration between a foreign sovereign state and a construction contractor.
